"Life Boat 22" is a special rescue boat designed for Crocerossa.

The great innovation of this boat is made ​​up of the recovery area.

The stretcher is arranged transversely and it is connected to the boat by linear guides and carriages which allow a starboard and left sliding.

This innovative system allows ship's doctors to be able to slide the stretcher in both directions (depending on the position of the person to be recovered relative to the boat), to drop the stretcher into the water, to recover the person and hoist on board, all in full safety, away from the blades of the engine and with the use of only one rescuer in water and one on board.

The boat is made of aluminum with a saddle tank composed of a tubular means which absorbs the impact.
